been really busy snapping… so here’s a pic before i bring on more!!!

the winged creatures…

they are the commonly found fowls by the entrance of the zoo… parrots!!! liked the way he eats… hahaha….

n this colorfully feathered parrot, looking ever so familiar. hahaha… n handsomely standing tall….

lastly, the largest bird that cant fly lol… his butt looks a bit erms…. disgusting hahahaahhaa.

the livelier ones…

do u feel that u are in madagascar? hahaha. do u know, the giraffes in mandai do not sleep! its a written fact, not made up by me….

and then here comes the zeeeebra…. think he just shitted. hahaha.

i remember our teachers always mention them before we visit the zoo! the rHinoceros. hahaha. used to mis-spell their names….

and lastly, the elephants!!! how could we miss them? think the weather is too hot, they need to COOL down…. but arent they cool?

actually, these are animals that we never miss when going to the zoo isnt it? its just too bad i din managed to get a pic of the polar. she(or is it he) is 20 this year… very old for a polar… n she was born right in sg!!! twice my height but the first time i visited them, she was probably little!!! this means, time flies. hahaha…

the pampered animals…

look at the tiger acting like a pussy cat? it is a bright hot afternoon and this tiger just lazed around, finding some shade to take his afternoon nap maybe…

in case u mistaken him for a pussy cat, he turned over for u to see his fierce-looking face…. hahaha…

the jaguar doing the same… look at how he puts his back paws… simply lying down with no defense at all…

ahh… n finally when i thought the lions were living up to their name (king of the jungle), they disappointed me too…

4 of them came into the shade to nap… aiyohhhhhhhh…..

but if u think only the cats are pampered (eat n sleep, then eat again…. ), this 2 little creatures are pampered lil things… see the way they hide n nap???

the otters were busy napping under the shade from the branch….

these, are what i called pampered animals… they need not worry abt being eaten up by predators if they nap openly… is this a sg culture? hahahahahahah

possibly one of the best-smelling zoo

he doesnt fly, he swims…. he’s one nice animal… doesnt move suddenly when u’re about to snap. probably he knows u are taking handsome pics of him, thats why.

i used to joke that i would like to get a penguin for a pet… but i just found out that they stink… lol… so no more penguins for pets. hahaha.

isnt this cute? looks as if he’s peeking out of the water to see whats happening…

u know, i suddenly realised that the last time i visited the zoo was in 2007 hahaha. time flies! u know, i’m still as impressed with our zoo. no strong, stinky smells around… clean habitats for the animals, clean pathways and tram for the visitors… really not too bad…

we spent half the day there and wow… its tiring, even though we took the tram a few times. hahaha. great place to snao except that u really need patience because the animals prefer to face inwards… anyways, i keep that for another story. so, here’s presenting u those who can swim… more up soon.

campfire campfire

the first campfire in the new school turned out pretty fine after all… with the exception of the ugly pit… oh wells… the long awaited move happened… and yea, we’re in our new campus le… travelling becomes less convenient.. haha. but oh wells, we have a bigger field for the ccas to snatch. hahaha.

u know, i’ve never done campfire for orientation as a cadet before… not in the comm i mean… but i cant believe i’ve done close to 10 orientation campfires… n i probably remembered everyone of them, because of the steep stairs down to the field. every single fireball going down was yet another memory.

this year, the simplicity of the pit just brought about a different feeling. no stairs to run, no walkie talkie to rush things, no complexity.

but the flame still impresses. feel the flame.

when guys become gals…

not too sure if u believe your eyes… but yea, they are guys…. u know, the thailand show…. they are really pretty!!! some are prettier than pretty babes… lol… n they can dance!!!!

the last 2 are actually the same person… anyways, this is so common in thailand… watching it, somehow i was filled with mixed feelings… sighs…….
